Local Anchor Rips Viewers Who Complained About ‘Once Upon A Time’ Getting Interrupted For Tornado Coverage

Here’s a clip of Sioux Falls news anchor Nancy Naeve chastising viewers who called in to complain about the station interrupting Sunday’s two-hour Once Upon a Time season finale with live tornado coverage. I love this clip, not necessarily because her rant is that great, but because I find it hilarious that there are people out there who actually did this. Apparently lots of them. Like, don’t get me wrong, I get it. I’d be upset — temporarily, at least — if this had happened to me during Parks & Recreation or something, but I like to think I’d be able to take a deep breath and calm down before I got to the point where I actually called to complain about coverage of a natural disaster interrupting my stories. Probably. Maybe.

Anyway, the funniest thing about this is imagining one of these people get lifted off the ground by the tornado and swirled around the funnel as they continued complaining about what an inconvenience the natural disaster was.

“Why couldn’t the tornado have hit during the commmmmmmerrrrrrrrrciallllllllllllllllll?”
