Major Dodson is an actor best known for playing Sam Anderson on AMC’s The Walking Dead. You may have also seen him portraying Corey Bachman on FX’s American Horror Story.
Major was nice enough to take a few minutes out of his busy schedule recently to answer a few questions from us.
1. You walk into a bar. What do you order from the bartender?
Definitely Coca-Cola. That’s the only thing close to alcohol I’ll ever drink! As in, it’s fun to drink.
2. Who’s your favorite person to follow on Twitter and/or Instagram?
Entertainment Weekly. I like to see all the crazy headlines and news going on!
3. What’s currently waiting for you on your DVR?
I’m waiting for new episodes of Top Gear (BBC). I’m really gonna miss Jeremy Clarkson.
4. It’s your last meal — what are you going out with?
Ooh, that’s deep. My last meal would have to be my mom’s Goulash, which is corn and beef on top of noodles and cheese.
5. What websites do you visit on a regular basis?
I’m always on YouTube. My favorite channels are NerdCubed, Markiplier and VanossGaming.
6. What’s the most frequently played song on your mobile device?
“Dog of Wisdom” by The Living Tombstone has to be my most played song. It’s REALLY catchy!
7. The first face that comes to mind when you think “punchable?”
The Governor from The Walking Dead.
8. What’s the last thing you googled?
I looked for a miniature theremin, which makes noise when you put your finger close to it. I always found it awesome. I’m also looking for the tiny version!
9. Dogs or cats?
Kittens. They can be more serene, they’re fluffy, they’re just adorable.
10. Best concert of your life was…?
I got to see Queen with Adam Lambert for my 11th birthday. It had all the original band members, except for Freddie Mercury, who was replaced with Adam Lambert.
11. What book are you most likely to give as a gift?
Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. I’ve read it ALL the way through, and I read his second book, Armada. They’re both based off vintage and modern games, and there’s even a movie being made by Steven Spielberg for Ready Player One!
12. What’s the nicest thing anyone has ever done for you?
My mom giving me the chance to live this life I have been given.
13. South Park or Family Guy?
I’m not really allowed to watch them, but I’d have to say Family Guy. It’s a bit more… appropriate.
14. You have an entire day to do whatever you want. What would you do?
I’d probably play on my 1985 NES, and try to break the world record for fastest play through!
15. What movie can you not resist watching if it’s on?
Jaws. My all-time favorite movie!
16. The sports team or teams you’re most passionate about?
I’ve never been that into sports, but I grew up with the Texas Rangers.
17. Where did you eat the best meal of your life?
My home. My mom makes the best food. Period!
18. The last movie you saw in a theater?
Hotel Transylvania 2.
19. Who was your first celebrity crush?
I didn’t have one. I still don’t, because if it worked out, there’d be WAY too much drama!
20. What would you cook if Nic Cage was coming to your house for dinner?
He used to live in New Orleans, so we’d make him a Po-Boy.
