The Whisper Challenge, like many of Jimmy Fallon’s games that are played on The Tonight Show, are straightforward, yet deceptively hard. Perhaps this is because the celebrities that come on the show aren’t prepared for them in the same way Jimmy is, or maybe it’s because Jimmy is just the greatest late-night parlor-game competitor in the history of late-night parlor-game competitions. It’s also clear that in tonight’s Whisper Challenge against Margot Robbie, he got some help with “fuggedaboutit” thanks to her pantomiming a joyous mobster wiping someone’s transgression against the family clean with the brightest of smiles.
It’s hard to be disappointed in Suicide Squad’s Harley Quinn. She’s the exact opposite of her murderous alter ego and Joker admirer. It’s clear she just wants to hop on The Tonight Show, have some fun and play a game or two. She never realized she’d be dominated by Jimmy.
Perhaps, Jimmy just happens to get the easier words to work out while he gets to spout “labradoodle” as Whisper Challenge to his guests. You can’t even act out labradoodle, Jimmy. There is a clear conflict of interest here, because Fallon is consistently winning his little games. Where is the commission that oversees these predetermined Whisper Game words? We need more transparency in these Tonight Show jaunts!
