Merritt Wever of Nurse Jackie won an Emmy for Best Supporting Actress last night, and she gave the best acceptance speech… well… possibly ever. It might not be the most wordy nor the most profound, but it certainly is memorable.
Not to spoil it before you watch it, but when she says “thank you” at the end it makes me want to give her all of the acting jobs in the entire world. And I’m the President of Hollywood so I can make that happen.
