Saturday Night Live just announced their next host when they return live on April 4th — Oscar-nominee Michael Keaton will come back for his third stint as host with Carly Rae Jepsen as the musical guest, making her SNL debut. The last time Keaton hosted was in 1992 (before that he hosted in 1982), so there will probably be a joke about how 21-year-old cast member Pete Davidson hadn’t even been born yet.

Considering how wonderfully self-deprecating and funny Michael Keaton is — Birdman was basically a parody of his own career — this has the potential to be an excellent show with a buttload of Birdman and Batman jokes. But mostly, I would like to see him address the moment at the Oscars when Eddie Redmayne beat him for Best Actor and he was caught on camera putting his acceptance speech back in his jacket:

Prove to us that you’re not still sad, Michael Keaton. A world waits with baited breath for your blessing.
