Michael Moore Thinks Trump Will Win The Election, Apologizes For Being A ‘Buzzkill’

Who knew Michael Moore was capable of such a remarkable Debbie Downer impression? The bad news for liberals is that the filmmaker’s impression was the unintentional byproduct of what Moore sees as a grim future.

Last night’s special edition of Real Talk With Bill Maher (GET OUTTA HERE, MIRAGE TALK, etc.) naturally gravitated around Donald Trump and this week’s lively RNC festivities. MSNBC host Joy-Ann Reid and “Savage Love” columnist Dan Savage were also guests on the program alongside Moore, which prompted host Bill Maher to quip: “After three nights of watching the Republican convention, it is great to be here with my gay, black, communist pals.” One of those pals (Moore) was on the receiving end of what can only be described as a collection of angry gasps and disapproving boos when he laid out his forecast for how this year’s election will play out.

“I’m sorry to have to be the buzzkill here so early on, but I think Trump is going to win,” predicted a glum sounding Moore to a frustrated audience reaction. Maher was quick to come to Moore’s defense, telling the crowd to boo if they want, but that “the enemy is complacency.”

There you go, conservatives. It wasn’t just Ted Cruz getting pushback from an audience over Trump on Wednesday night. Michael Moore knows that feeling too.
