Nick Offerman Shares Some Of His Favorite Fatty Meat Dishes To Plump You Up For Winter

In addition to his scene-stealing character of “Karl Weathers” in Fargo, Nick Offerman is currently being seen in the play A Confederacy of Dunces, a role which required the Parks and Recreation star to beef up, both literally and figuratively. On Monday night, Offerman revealed to Jimmy Fallon that he had a regimen going of eating some of his favorite fatty meats to put on weight for the part, which he was all too happy to share with viewers “to work into their fall schedules.”

On the menu was bratwurst with a “side salad” of cheese curds; what appears to be bacon cheeseburgers, pork chops, and more sausages; singe-malt scotch (because what does he look like, a barbarian?); and a turducken. Despite being part of the menu, Offerman says that the turducken is actually a bit lightweight for his tastes, and that he prefers a dish called “The Flying Pig” which consists of the meat from a pig which has been fed a turducken in mid-August.

Jimmy Fallon also offered a surprise dish of his own to surprise Offerman with, which they consumed in a very romantic Lady and the Tramp-like fashion. The phrase “nothing tastes as good as skinny feels” has never seemed so wrong.
