‘Walking Dead’ Star Norman Reedus Is Getting A Motorcyclin’ Travel Show On AMC

Haven’t gotten your fill of Daryl Dixon riding a motorcycle on The Walking Dead this season? Well, good news, you people-lickers, because AMC just picked up Ride with Norman Reedus, which isn’t quite as hilarious as Untitled Billy Corgan Wrestling Project, but it’ll probably be more successful.

The motorcycle travel series, which got a six-episode order, follows Reedus and a friend as they travel America, “checking out bike shops, tattoo parlors, bars, and restaurants frequented by chopper enthusiasts.” His travel buddies will “range from actors and artists to bikers” and hopefully Tig and Venus.

Hey, there’s crossover potential there.

“There is nobody more passionate about motorcycles than Norman Reedus,” said Joel Stillerman, president of original programming and development for AMC and SundanceTV. “He is an avid rider and aficionado who is deeply immersed in motorcycle culture. There is also nobody more fun to hang out with. This show will bring those two elements together for a weekly ride into the incredible world of motorcycles and the people who live and breathe them.” (Via)

“If Ride with Norman Reedus Gets Canceled, We Riot” doesn’t have the same ring to it. Anyway, expect many “taking his hog out” jokes. Tumblr demands it.
