Norman Reedus Elaborates On The Time A Crazed ‘Walking Dead’ Fan Bit Him

Norman Reedus was on Jimmy Kimmel Live Tuesday night answering all the important Walking Dead questions, like “What’s it like to get bitten by a crazy fan?” Reedus was at the New Jersey Walker Stalker convention back in December when a female fan sunk her teeth into the television star. New Jersey, amiright? Of course Kimmel just had to find out more.

“We took a picture, and… she started out, she came out and she goes, ‘Sometimes I like to pretend that we’re married!'” Reedus told Kimmel. “And to tell you the truth, I was so tired at that point that I didn’t really register that she’d said that.

“She kinda started to shake like that, and then she went up like this and kinda howled. And then she came down and bit me on the breast, the chest. And howled again. I kind of went, ‘Ow.’ And Michael Rooker [who plays Merl] was there and went, ‘What the f*ck was that?’ And then a couple nice officers tackled her to the ground.

“She was escorted out,” he continued. “And she came outside and went ‘What happened?’ And they said ‘Ma’am, you just bit Norman, and she said ‘I did?'”

According to Reedus, she didn’t draw blood but did leave her teeth prints in his skin.

Jimmy, being the resourceful guy that he his, managed to track down the Instagram of the fan who bit Norman, and here’s a picture from moments before the biting:

Norman isn’t the only Walking Dead star to be bitten. Just last week Tyler James Williams, who played Noah on the show, detailed a similar incident. The upside to all this is next time you meet a Walking Dead star and stammer through a thank you or interrupt their private moment for a photo op, you won’t be the most annoying fan ever. They’ll just be thankful you didn’t try to chow down on them.
