President Obama Will Appear On ‘Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee’ With Jerry Seinfeld

Jerry Seinfeld and Crackle just dropped the trailer for the seventh season of their web series, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, along with a press release announcing the newest guests. This time around, Seinfeld will ride in cars and drink coffee with Will Ferrell, Steve Martin, Garry Shandling, Kathleen Madigan and Sebastian Maniscalco. Wow, Will Ferrell and Steve Martin! Those are some pretty good gets! Love those guys.

Oh yeah, he will also be joined by President Obama on the December 30 season premiere.

The episode featuring President Obama was shot at the White House earlier this month, and features both the President and Seinfeld driving a 1963 Corvette Stingray Split Window Coupe, and talking about life in the White House over coffee.

Jerry Seinfeld said: “Growing up in the ’60s my kid dream was always to be an astronaut—doing a comedy show with President Obama in and around the White House felt like going into space.

‘How did I get here?’ ‘Is this really happening?’ The President’s humor and generosity are the only reasons this was even possible. He was so easy and fun to be with. Being President and just a cool guy to hang out with at the same time made the experience my own personal moonwalk. It was an unforgettable day.”

Being a second-term President seems pretty cool, just appearing on podcasts in garages and popping up in web series about drinking coffee with multi-millionaire comedians. Can’t really get away with too much of that in your first term. That’s why Martin Van Buren never appeared on a podcast. Lotta people don’t know that.

Update: And here’s a link to the episode.
