During Wednesday night’s American Horror Story, FX ran a promo for The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story that was basically just a clip of David Schwimmer as Robert Kardashian, surrounded by his various offspring who would eventually grow up to be the reality stars we know and tolerate today, yelling: “WE ARE KARDASHIANS.” I bring this up because this latest teaser uploaded to FX’s YouTube channel (the one that aired on TV is sadly absent) also references Kardashian’s most famous daughter, the bedroom of whom O.J. attempts (allegedly!) to kill himself in.
Other than that, there’s not too much to be learned from the teaser, which features some of the same footage as the official trailer released two weeks ago. But is anyone else starting to get the impression that, half the time, the show is just going to be winking at the camera like “lol did you know that O.J. Simpson’s lawyer was Kim Kardashian’s dad?” As long as there’s at least one musical number, you know, I think I’m okay with that.
