Rosie O’Donnell rapped on The View this morning. I don’t know why Rosie O’Donnell rapped and, frankly, I’m not sure I care enough to delve into this any further. Perhaps this has to do with The View’s abysmal ratings, I don’t know. I claim complete ignorance when it comes to daytime talk shows not involving Kelly Ripa.
That being said, according to Variety, today’s episode of The View was the first with ABC News in charge
“Moving ‘The View’ to our non-fiction programming group now allows it to fully draw on the vast resources of ABC News and our team in New York, where the show is based right next door,” Goldston says in a memo Variety obtained from the network that will circulate to staffers on Thursday morning. “We couldn’t be more thrilled to work with this terrific team.”
Judging by the video above, things are off to one hell of a start.
