Relive The Dark Absurdity Of ‘Mister Sprinkles:’ Dan Harmon And Justin Roiland’s Early Animated Comedy

As we’ve noted numerous times, there’s still a bit of wait if you want new episodes of Rick and Morty. We also have to wait until late January for new episodes of Community on Yahoo. So what’s a Dan Harmon fan to do? Keep watching all of the old episodes on DVD? Catch up on the classic comedy from Channel 101 and other places? A man can only watch Yacht Rock so many times!

Luckily, Terry over at Vimeo has the answer. He took all of the short episodes of Mister Sprinkles, an early collaboration between Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland from the short lived Acceptable TV on VH1, and compiled them all into one 11-minute video. It’s dark, crazy, and entertaining as hell.

You can really see the DNA of Rick And Morty inside these clips, maybe with a darker tint to them. It’s also a great step forward from the earlier efforts that brought Rick and Morty to life.

I know some in the comments have seen this before, but there’s never been a dedicated post for it. That’s something it deserves, so enjoy.
