In this week’s Rick and Morty, we met Rick’s ex. Is she some sort of other smart-ass scientist, or alien life form?
Oh, she’s a collective hive mind that can assimilate multiple people at once. So close.
It didn’t take long for Unity and Rick to rekindle the romance.
This is just one of those things where they just talk about it, but don’t actually… oh.
But Rick and Unity started getting a little careless.
With Unity distracted and drugged up, it left Morty and Summer in a bit of danger.
Some of the citizens were unassimilated back into their normal selves.
Unity eventually saved the day, but was fine with her current situation.
So was Rick, as he chose Unity over the grandkids.
Which presumably led to something this giraffe will never forget.
We then got a reference to an obscure TV show…
… that unwittingly turned into a metaphor for Rick and Unity’s relationship.
Unity decided to break up with Rick again. He did not take it well.
In the b-plot, a baby-eating alien was so annoyed by Beth and Jerry that he decided to leave the planet.
Can’t say I disagree.
