Purging And Power Suits Reigned On This Week’s ‘Rick And Morty’

This week’s Rick and Morty took place on a planet that kept the peace by having one day a year where they’re allowed to do whatever they want, à la The Purge. You know, because it was on a planet of anthropomorphic cats, maybe it’s more like a “Purrrrrrge.” And that’s why I dole out more GIFs than words.

After getting his ship fixed up, Rick was all too eager to watch the purging. Until he wasn’t.

But Morty being all Morty, the duo had to save a damsel in distress named Arthrisha.

It did not go so well for them.

Luckily, they found safety in a lighthouse whose keeper only wanted to tell a story. Unfortunately, Morty was not a fan of in media res.

Eventually, Rick and Morty got some Purge suits to help them out.

In the end, Rick and Morty got to purge, and Arthrisha convinced Rick to purge the fat cats who started this tradition in the first place. Most of this happened with the Tony! Toni! Toné! hit “Feels Good” in the background. And now comes the part where I suggest you watch violent GIFs while jamming out to Tony! Toni! Toné! It’s a fun time-waster, and you might even get over the fact that next week is the season finale. Enjoy!
