Last week Danger covered the news of Comedy Central’s summer premiere dates, which included a new series called Another Period from two funny ladies, Riki Lindhome and Natasha Leggero. Although at the time, not much was known about it. The above teaser doesn’t give too much insight, but according to Comedy Central’s official website, Another Period is a “historical satire about narcissistic aristocrats and the poor souls in their employ” following the lives of the Bellacourt family and their servants in turn-of-the-century Rhode Island.
So, I’m guessing a Downton Abbey spoof set in the states? The series will feature Christina Hendricks, Michael Ian Black, David Koechner and Jason Ritter, as we mentioned before, in addition to David Wain and Paget Brewster.
Another Period premieres Tuesday, June 23 at 10:30 p.m.
