Robert Kirkman Teases Much More For The Conflict Between Morgan And Carol On ‘The Walking Dead’

Eat your hearts out, Walking Dead fans! In advance of the midseason premiere, lots of juicy details are surfacing about ongoing feuds, battles, relationships, and more. In the latest dispatch from the set of TV’s most popular show, Entertainment Weekly spoke to creator Robert Kirkman about where Carol and Morgan’s relationship lies after their explosive interaction in the midseason finale. Diplomatic bedfellows they are most certainly not.

“I would say that the conflict between him and Carol is only beginning. I would expect to see, a little bit more of that in the back half of the season as Morgan is still finding his place within this group. He’s still very much new to the scene and trying to feel out, how it is that he interacts with these people. And his philosophy, as I said, is at odds with Rick, and it’s possibly going to be more at odds after the attack on Alexandria than it was before.”

From the sounds of it, these two are on a collision course that is about to end in something much worse than the big showdown they’ve already had. Plus, fans should remember this is on top of everything else that is going down in Alexandria with Rick and the group. Even if things are looking up for the crew, something bad is about to happen to take any happiness they’ve earned right back again. Tune in on Sunday when The Walking Dead returns to unleash more zombies and drama to find out exactly what goes down with the Carol and Morgan fallout.
