Rosario Dawson Will Return To Stitch Up Season Two Of ‘Daredevil’ On Netflix

Season two of Daredevil won’t have to worry about patching up all of those injuries because The Night Nurse is returning. Rosario Dawson will reprise her role as Claire Temple in Netflix’s first Marvel Comics series, plus a little extra. Marvel announced the return on their official site with a message from Jeph Loeb:

“After working with Rosario in the first season, we knew instantly that we had to have her back for our second,” said Executive Producer/Head of Marvel TV Jeph Loeb. “Claire Temple proved a fan favorite in Season 1, and we can’t wait for fans to see all the plans we have for her next.”

Now this return shouldn’t be too much of a surprise, but it does seem like she will have an expanded role in season two and will appear in the other series that have yet to premiere on Netflix. Hard to believe they only had her for five episodes of the first season:

Now I called her The Night Nurse because that’s been the rumored basis for her character, but Claire Temple is indeed a separate person in the Marvel Universe. Either way, she was a fine addition to a great show and hopefully won’t get bogged down from having to appear in every series from here on out. At least she’s going to be showing up on Agents of SHIELD any time soon, getting blown away by some HYDRA weapon or Inhuman crystal. Dawson’s deal is for the Netflix shows only.
