Scully Is Returning To Broadcast Television For The First Time Since ‘The X-Files’ (And The Morning Links)

Gillian Anderson, who we haven’t seen on broadcast television since The X-Files went off the air, will return in the spring on NBC’s Hannibal, the Bryan Fuller series based on the Thomas Harris character. Anderson will play Hannibal Lector’s personal shrink, and will appear on multiple episodes. Ironically, Anderson was once considered for the role of Clarice Starling in 2001’s Hannibal, but her X-Files contract forbade her from playing another FBI agent. (Source: EW)
