Seth MacFarlane was a bit under the weather when visiting Jimmy Kimmel to promote Blunt Talk. So instead of spending the segment attempting to talk on his bum voice, Kimmel suggested that he and MacFarlane do some competitive drawing of a couple from the audience. While Kimmel turned out to be better than expected, MacFarlane’s results gave some insight into how he sees couples as well as the source material for his animated shows.
It does lead to a nice little call back to the rumored Seth MacFarlane “Flintstones” reboot that never happened, likely because MacFarlane got too busy watching a ball game or something. And yes, he does manage to work in a few of those Family Guy-style references to pop culture, so there’s that.
