So, the problem with writing up rumor posts is, I sometimes have to write another post the next day basically taking back everything I said.
Yesterday, Spoiler TV claimed they had intel that The CW was developing a spin-off Hawkgirl show with Ciara Renée, and everything was awesome, and I was actually interested in watching The CW again.
Well, Renée denied the rumors yesterday via Twitter:
Srry to disappoint, but the rumors are false. No #Hawkgirl solo show! Thanx for all the love though! Even more excited to start #DCLOT now!

A CW spokesperson also told the Daily Dot that it was “just a rumor,” which is a bummer because, despite the confusing logistics of spinning off a character in a show that hasn’t even begun filming yet, I’m all for a Hawkgirl anything.
