SNL’s Brilliant ‘Miracles’ Parody

I tend to avoid the Juggalo phenomenon around here, partly because Juggalos are rarely on TV, but mostly because I’mafraid of clowns. But one thing that’s been impossible to avoid if you spend a lot of time on the Internet is Insane Clown Posse’s “Miracles” video (above). And when I first heard that “Saturday Night Live” did a parody of “Miracles,” I immediately discounted it. “Miracles” is already a spoof of itself, a song written with the scientific expertise of the 12th century (“Water, fire, air, and dirt / F*ckin’ magnets, how do they work?”).

But no: I was wrong. It’s terrific. Please watch for yourself below, in both Hulu and — while it lasts — YouTube form.
