‘Southland’ Has Been Canceled By TNT

To paraphrase Sublime, “TNT has screamed 1-8-7 at a motherf*cking Southland.” In normal people talk, according to Deadline, Southland has been canceled, after one season on NBC and four on TNT.

The critically praised cop show has been a source of pride for TNT brass who rescued the series after NBC dropped it before Season 2. “TNT has made the difficult decision not to renew Southland for another season,” TNT said in a statement. “We are enormously proud of Southland, which stands as one of the best police dramas ever made.” (Via)

THIS IS THE WORST HOW COULD TNT CANCEL SOUTHLAND IT’S SO GOOD, is what I’m going to say in a year, when I finally start watching Southland. I’m sorry, guys. This is my fault. At least Ben McKenzie’s freed up for that The O.C. Gone Hawaiian spec script Danger’s been working on for five years.
