‘Lip Sync Battle’ Goes ‘Stranger Things’ With Chrissy Teigen As Barb And Performances By The Cast

Weezer’s hit song “Buddy Holly,” from the the band’s debut album Weezer (also known as The Blue Album), was released in the year 1994. Eight years later, in 2002, Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard (Mike) was born. The only reason I’m telling you this is so you can feel super duper old while watching this preview clip of this week’s upcoming episode of Lip Sync Battle featuring kids from the show in a double header, as Wolfhard will face off against his costar Caleb McLaughlin (Lucas), and Gaten Matarazzo (Dustin) will go up against Noah Schnapp (Will).

Wolfhard seems be doing a pretty good job with the song (despite his slight disadvantage of having not been born until eight years after it came out) but co-host Chrissy Teigen also deserves a mention for her totally on point “Barb” get up in the back, complete with a short, strawberry blonde wig, Trapper Keeper, and everything.

Spike also released a clip from Caleb McLaughlin’s performance of “I’m Bad” by LL Cool J, in a nod to the show’s host, which may or may not earn him brownie points. Matarazzo and Schnapp’s performances seem to still be a secret (for now), but you can tune in on Thursday, May 25 at 10:00 p.m. to find out for yourself.
