Piers Morgan just can’t seem to catch a break. That or, as Seth Meyers points out, he’s sitting back and enjoying himself a lot right now. He’s still getting bombarded with cleavage shots online and earning a lot of attention on the television circuit. This all stems from his criticism of Susan Sarandon from the SAG Awards, something she wasn’t pleased about if you remember.
It became a topic of discussion on Thursday’s Late Night and Sarandon decided to knock Morgan a bit more by bringing his mother into it. Watch yourself, Susan! You might get a stern lecture on the nature of one’s love for their mother!
It’s clearly not the worst thing in the world, but I don’t believe Morgan will be hanging out with Sarandon and having tea any time soon. He still might get some more cleavage tossed in his face as makes his way around television. I’m sure he’ll be on The View soon, then he can make his way to Today with Hoda and Kathie Lee, finally ending up on Nancy Grace before finally committing seppuku. It’d be a glorious end to a fairly questionable career.
