Just because it’s summer doesn’t mean we can’t appreciate the many “Community” treasures that the Internet gifts us. The latest? An Alex Moschina joint, a catchy-ass megamix synced to the Pbbbbts of Greendale’s lovable old racist, Leonard.
But before I send you off to the cootish beats of the that rascally old bastard, here’s some fun facts about the man who plays Leonard, Richard Erdman. He is 87 years old. He’s been acting since before ALL of you were born (his first role was in 1947; he’s had 157 roles in film and tv to date). His best known role? As McNulty in the classic “Twilight Zone” episode, “A Kind of Stopwatch.” As you can see here, Erdman was not a bad looking youngster. His wife, who died in 2010, was a poet and an illustrator. It’s probably where he picked up his fat beats.
Take us home, Leonard. And shut up.
