Watch The Short Film The ‘Daily Show’ Made About Hillary Clinton For The DNC

It’s done. The Democratic National Convention has seen the balloons drop, and now we’re heading to the final, most important stretch of the presidential race. Over the next thee months, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton will jockey for a position behind the desk in the Oval Office. We saw celebrities, politicians, presidents and Bernie or Busters at DNC 2016. We saw the opposite of Donald Trump’s divisive rhetoric. We saw Hillary shattering the glass ceiling. We saw Hillary make a Stone Cold Steve Austin entrance. But what we didn’t see, was The Daily Show‘s rejected short made specifically for the Democratic National Convention.

Trevor Noah and the rest of the Daily Show crew is live tonight, and they’ve brought that Hillary Clinton short film that the Democratic National Committee rejected, titled — Hillary: The Best You’re Going To Get.

In this short, we see the Hillary Clinton that seems to flip flop on so many progressive issues, admits to being a moderate politician who was against gay marriage just a few years ago, and ultimately represents the lesser of two evils. It’s Hillary 2.0, or the Hillary that was rebooted from the failed 2008 model. The Daily Show is just trying to show their best take on the democratic nominee for president in this video, but the DNC just didn’t want the footage. It’s not difficult to see why.
