What do you want in a reality TV series? A buncha middle-aged men in a boy band, that’s what! It gets even better, because not only will the New Kids On The Block be starring in their own seriea, it will be set on a cruise boat. Danger reported on this last year, but here some new details on the New Kids On The Block cruise ship reality show. Never thought I’d group those words together. Via Boston.com:
Donnie Wahlberg and the rest of the New Kids on the Block crew will be hitting the high seas in a new reality show — set on a boat cruise — for the TV Guide Channel.
The network announced on Tuesday that it will be bringing the eight-episode series, titled “Rock This Boat: NKOTB,” to the small screen.
The show will follow a week-long “vacation of the lifetime” where the boy band gets to party like it’s 1984 while they’re out at sea with a number of their adoring fans.
Eight episodes of Donnie Walhberg and crew dancing on a boat. I guarantee that one episode will include seasickness, a member being late for a performance, and a boat emergency. Let’s just take things step by step. We don’t want to get ahead of ourselves here.
Just imagine all of that energy, but on a cruise!
