The Voice Of The Animated ‘Cat In The Hat’ TV Series Will Host ‘SNL’ Again (And The Morning Links)

Martin Short is set to host the final Saturday Night Live episode of 2012, along with musical guest, Paul McCartney. This will be the former cast member’s third hosting stint, though his first in 15 years. Why is Martin Short hosting? I don’t know that he’s doing anything other than the OBNOXIOUS Cat in the Hat series on PBS (reason #435 not to have kids, folks), but SNL does like to throw a bone to old cast member occasionally (remember when Dana Carvey hosted early last year, the first and last time we’ve seen Carvey in 15 years). Jamie Fox will also host on December 8th.
