‘The Walking Dead’ Season 8’s All Out War Had Fans Wondering Where The Survivors Got All That Ammo

The Walking Dead kicked off its season 8 premiere with a lot of fireworks, but if you were worried things might slow down moving forward, now you know that they are most certainly not. As you might expect from a story arc described as all out war, things continued hot and heavy from the opening scene right until the final credits. It all started with another assault on a Savior compound, with a group of Alexandrians rolling up in cars armored with sheet metal.

And why only show one battle when you can split the tension across three? You’ve got the Alexandria Mad Max brigade, Rick and Daryl hitting what they thought was a weapons depot, and then Tara, Jesus, and Morgan wiping out yet another Savior post. It was madness, and fans loved it.

And then Morgan claimed he couldn’t die, which just seems like a good way to jinx yourself in the zombie apocalypse.

We also got a refresher on what happens when you show mercy on The Walking Dead.

And who would have expected Morgan to go full Terminator by the end of the episode?

Seriously, there was so much packed into this episode in between the bullets that it’s hard to recap it all, but Twitter sure tried…

At this rate, season 8 is looking like it may be a 16-hour long action film. That’s not great for all the characters, who are starting to sprout bullet holes and find themselves in some very precarious situations. The first two episodes have had Rick and his gang largely victorious, but it seems like things are about to start turning against them, and it’s not going to be pretty.
