AMC’s The Walking Dead is one hell of a stomach-churning, soul-twisting show. Fans of the show are already waiting on pins and needles for the next season. Meanwhile, Robert Kirkman and his crew are having a hell of a time keeping their performers out of trouble — whether it’s the actress who mailed ricin to President Obama, or Chad L. Coleman’s recent rant on the New York subway. Now it looks like another actor has gone and done something dumb.

Variety reports Seth Gilliam, otherwise known as the Rev. Gabriel Stokes, was arrested and charged with driving under the influence this weekend:

Gilliam was pulled over for driving 107 mph in a 55-mph zone, according to police. He was arrested after police discovered a marijuana cigarette in his car. At Fayette County Jail, Gilliam was charged with DUI, drug possession and speeding.

Peachtree City is about 30 miles southwest of downtown Atlanta. Filming for season six of “The Walking Dead” was under way in nearby Senoia, Georgia.

No other details are available about what kind of “influence” Gilliam was under at the time, or why he was even behind the wheel. Either way, let’s hope he’s taken care of and that season six is allowed to continue filming. WE NEEDS IT, THE PRECIOUS.
