This ‘Fox & Friends’ Host Hit Someone With A Flying Axe, And It’s As Ridiculous As It Sounds

On June 14, Fox & Friends host Pete Hegseth teased an upcoming segment on Timbersports by tossing an axe in the general direction of a wooden board. As you can see in the clip above, via Mediaite, Hegseth’s throw was just a bit outside, missing the mark by several inches.

The axe flew towards a member of West Point’s marching band, who were in attendance to celebrate the Army’s 240th birthday. Jeff Prosperie, a drummer for the Hellcats, was on the receiving end, taking the broad side of the axe in the right arm.

A somewhat minor NSFW warning.

Via Jeff Prosperie’s Facebook:

I was hit by an axe while performing a drum solo live on National TV…..words I never imagined saying! This happened last Sunday and I have been reluctant to post but starting to receive inquiries from concerned family and friends. I am thankful to God that the double sided blade only hit broadside on the outer elbow with significant impact and a couple of cuts as it fell along my wrist. It could have been much worse or fatal. Focusing on full physical and emotional recovery.

Luckily, Prosperie did not suffer any major injuries. We’ll wait to see if he pursues any legal action against Fox News or Hegseth.

Suffice to say, if you’re not good at throwing an axe, definitely don’t do it when people are around.
