It was revealed this week that Josh Duggar, the oldest child of 19 Kids and Counting stars Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar, had been accused of molesting multiple girls in 2006, including four of his sisters. Last night, TLC served up a 19 Kids and Counting mini-marathon with the extra unfortunate theme: “The Duggars Guide to Love.”

Tonight’s TLC lineup was originally supposed to feature a seven hour Duggar marathon on the “reality”-heavy network, but it sounds like TLC has finally realized what a horrible situation this whole thing is. Via The Wrap:

“19 Kids & Counting” has been removed from TLC’s schedule, as one of the show’s stars, Josh Duggar, finds himself mired in a child molestation scandal.

All episodes of the series have been removed from the network’s schedule.

TLC has offered no comment on the Duggar scandal or the fate of the series, one of the network’s most popular offerings.

Instead, the schedule now features episodes of Curvy Brides and Say Yes To The Dress, most certainly an improvement in the sense that neither show has inspired hashtag chaos on Twitter.

It’s important to point out that TLC has only pulled the series from its schedule for now, and this news does not mean that 19 Kids and Counting has been canceled. As we’ve seen in the past, some networks believe that scandals need at least nine days to fully blow over.
