Even the broadcasting legends are prone to forget to silence their iPhones every now and then. During tonight’s midterm election coverage over on MSNBC, Tom Brokaw’s phone signaled a nuclear meltdown when his siren started blaring, and it took the veteran journalist a few moments to figure out that it was him making all that damn racket. Of course, when he finally realized that it was his iPhone 6 Plus (like he’d have a regular 6) causing the confusion, Brokaw handled it like the boss that he is, by pretending to answer and telling his wife or mistress that he’d make sure to pick up milk and feed the dog in the morning.
