We still have a while to wait for the next season of Amazon’s Transparent, but at least we now know exactly how long that wait will be. Showrunner Jill Soloway appeared on the Television Critics Association press tour and announced that the second season of the groundbreaking show would hit Amazon on Friday, Dec. 4. So there’s another show to add to your streaming schedule before the end of the year!
Since it first premiered, Transparent has taken the television world by storm, making a smooth transition into mainstream popularity by streaming on Amazon and finding itself nominated for multiple Emmy Awards. Now that the show won’t be about Maura’s coming out, it will be interesting to see how the Pfeffermans will handle the next leg of their journey. It will be equally interesting to watch this show now that we’ve been introduced to Caitlyn Jenner and watched her family react to her transition. Maybe Transparent helped her and her family; Kim Kardashian did mention watching the show with Caitlyn.
