The chances of Donald Trump finishing out the 2016 presidential race are most likely slim and none. He announced he is officially entering the race on Tuesday morning, but it still feels like it is nothing more than an attention grab via one of the biggest stages you can find. Despite the uncertain nature of his candidacy, Trump is in and he’s now part of the discussion. That means talk of running mates and as you can see from the video above, he’s got a heck of an idea:
“I think Oprah would be great. I’d love to have Oprah…I think we’d win easily, actually.”
Easily. I love this already and we’re not even 24 hours in.
Trump continued his claims, telling George Stephanopoulos that Oprah is great, “she’s talented, she’s a friend of mine. She’s a good person. I’ve been on her show.” Sounds good enough for vice president to me. Why even wait until next year for all of this? Let’s get this moving now. Debate, debate, debate.
