Two Actors Who Played Hated TV Characters Star In A Skit About Being Hated

Before The Walking Dead‘s Carl Face, played by Chandler Riggs, wore a dumb, goofy hat and — SPOILER — basically killed Dale by wandering off and throwing rocks at a zombie, there was another young actor in his first major TV role who annoyed millions of fans of a cult series. I’m, of course, talking about Wil Wheaton’s Wesley Crusher from Star Trek: The Next Generation, who for 86 episodes was an obnoxious, arrogant, know-it-all twat.

Thankfully, Wheaton and Riggs — who has never stayed in a single frame without getting lost and causing harm to everyone around him for so long — both know how audiences feel about their characters, and they mocked their on-screen personas in a video that Wheaton recorded doing a recent convention. The mugging at the end is unnecessary (as is the product placement?), but I do appreciate it whenever actors make fun of themselves. I could have used more “Lori complaining about laundry and/or driving her car like a crazy person,” though. And just in case you momentarily feel bad about hating on a kid:

AHHHHHHHH /waves fist to the sky in anger
