Get Acquainted With Anna Camp’s Diabolical Deirdre Robespierre In This ‘Kimmy Schmidt’ Clip

With season 2 of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt about to pop out of its bunker on April 15 for mass binging, it’s nice to have tiny morsels of the show tossed our way to help ease the wait. Y’know, the wait where you shout “BE HERE ALREADY DAMMIT!” at Netflix like it’s delivering an antidote or something.

A brand new sneak peek has tumbled out into the world with the spotlight on Jane Krakowski’s insecure status-obsessed Jacqueline seemingly meeting her match in frenemy Deirdre Robespierre played by Anna Camp. Cheerfully sipping on white wine on a public bench, Deirdre enjoys picking her pal apart with put-downs that signal that this is a hilariously toxic relationship.

“I can never tell if you’re trying to help me or destroy me,” laughs Jacqueline after absorbing a barb over her Birkin bag. That’s the sort of “friendship” these two wealthy Manhattanites are happy to nurture and we’re ridiculously excited to see what glorious carnage comes of this.

Anna Camp is part of a new fleet of stars set to invade the streaming comedy hit. Amy Sedaris, David Cross, Zosia Mamet, Fred Armisen, Evan Jonigkeit and Jeff Goldblum are all teed up to join the show for its second go-around. For further Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt teases, check out the season 2 trailer that dropped last month.
