Kristen Bell Proposes On Twitter And ‘Veronica Mars’ Movie Adds Two ‘Party Down’ Vets

This morning, just minutes after the Supreme Court essentially legalized same-sex in California, Kristen Bell — who has long stated that she and her long-time boyfriend, Parenthood’s Dax Shepard wouldn’t marry until same sex marriage was legal — proposed on Twitter. It took Dax Shepard nearly ONE HOUR AND 20 MINUTES to respond with a profane affirmative. Nearly an hour and a half? And he’s seen Kristen Bell naked. INEXCUSABLE. Granted, he may have been asleep, otherwise preoccupied, or his phone battery may have been dead when Bell used the social network to propose, but he SHOULD’VE KNOWN.

Congrats to those two. Here’s the tweets.

In other Veronica Mars news, pretty much the entire series’ long cast is back at this point, including Ryan Hansen, and Max Greenfield as Deputy Leo, and Krysten Ritter as Gia. Unfortunately, so is Piz. Ugh. Piz is the worst.

TV Guide is also announcing that Party Down co-stars Ken Marino and Martin Starr have also been added to the cast, although Martin Starr was not a member of the cast the first time around. He’ll play an 09er returning for the high school’s 10th year reunion. Ken Marino, of course, played the sleazy private detective Vinnie Van Lowe. Like many of the other rejoining cast members, Marino made a video announcing his return, in character. Unfortunatley, the embed code is not working at the moment, but you can watch it on YouTube.
