Jimmy Fallon will be hosting this weekend’s edition Saturday Night Live along with musical guest Justin Timberlake, and although Timberlake is not in the promos (he was on tour, where he brought someone on stage to help him propose to his girlfriend), he’s being heavily hyped in them. It’ll be Fallon’s second time to host the show, although given how popular he is as host, it’s not unreasonable to think that he could someday be the third former cast member to join the 5-timers club (joining Bill Murray and Chevy Chase), which already includes Justin Timberlake. He’s also the first late-night talk show host to host Saturday Night Live twice (Conan, Jon Stewart, and Jay Leno have all hosted once). It will be the first time, however, that Timberlake has served as musical guest without also being the host (he has appeared three times as both host and musical guest).
It’s a pretty great set of promos, featuring Kenan Thompson, a lot of snow, and, later, Kate McKinnon joins Fallon for a cute duet. Check it out.
