Lea Michelle Re-Implants Your ‘Let It Go’ Earworm In This Clip From The Season Premiere Of ‘Glee’

I don’t spend a lot of time with the small people who are young and not great at carrying a conversation, so my knowledge of their fixation with the movie Frozen and the song “Let it Go” is all second hand, but it’s almost always delivered to me through tears while these parents beg for another song to fill their ears for even a moment.

Unfortunately for them, “Let it Go” isn’t going anywhere, as evidenced by the above video that sees Glee star Lea Michelle singing a flawless rendition (sorry Idina) of the song during the season premiere.

I haven’t purposely watched Glee in quite some time, so it’s mildly surprising for me to see Lea Michelle’s once plucky character back home, her Broadway dreams dead (?) and her new job as the Glee club’s savior alive and well. With that said, I’m sure things will work out well for her character. Everyone loves a teacher that walks around wearing their faded dreams on their sleeve while mumbling Disney songs to themselves.

As you may or may not know, Friday’s two-hour season premiere kicks off the final season of Ryan Murphy’s uber-musical series, so if you’re a Gleek or even a recovered-Gleek, you may want to tune in on Friday at 8:00 p.m. to see how the end begins AND OH MY GOD I JUST REALIZED THAT THE “LET IT GO” LADY PLAYS LEA MICHELLE’S MOM ON THE SHOW SO HOW IS THE WORLD NOT EXPLODING RIGHT NOW?!
