Here it is, folks! NBC has released the first full length trailer for their upcoming musical special Peter Pan Live!. In case you haven’t been paying attention, the special will air on December 4th and stars Allison Williams as Peter Pan and Christopher Walken as Captain Hook.
I’m a bit conflicted here. When I was a kid, I was lucky enough to see Sandy Duncan perform as Peter Pan live on stage. When she flew over the crowd, it was magical. Mind you, I was 7 years old. Look, I’m sure this will be another ratings powerhouse for NBC and the show will go off without a hitch. Though, wouldn’t it be nice if Hook just said f*ck it and went full Walken? I’m thinking somewhere between True Romance and Deer Hunter with a little bit of The Continental sprinkled in for good measure.
