I’ll be honest with you: If American Horror Story were just a succession of their teasers, it’d probably be the creepiest show on television. The show itself is a mixed bag. It’s jet-fueled by perverted tropes, fantastic imagery, and plot lines that are decidedly hit and miss. Basically, it’s every horror-movie convention known to man crammed into Ryan Murphy’s gut and puked back on to the television screen. Take that for what it’s worth, but for me, season two’s need to ratchet up the shock value every single week hit a certain point where it became tedious, especially once the aliens got involved. I mean, COME ON. But I’m certainly game to give the new season a go, especially knowing that it’s witch themed.
The teasers, however, are indisputably phenomenal, ten-seconds a haunting creepiness. Check out all three clips below.
