Weekend Preview: The ‘Banshee’ Season Finale, Zombies, And ‘Last Man On Earth’

The Walking Dead
(AMC, Sunday 9:00 p.m.) — Carol got a whole lot scarier last week, and Rick seemed to be floating away from the isle of good a little bit before sharing a tender moment with a walker through a wall. This week seems as though we’ll get to see how Gabriel and Eugene are adapting while also putting Rick in close quarters with Jessie’s doctor husband.

Syfy Friday Dramas (Syfy, Friday 9:00-11:00 p.m.) — Cole journeys to 2017 and the heart of the outbreak on 12 Monkeys, Alan, Kyle, and Winger search for the red sap that could be the key to stopping their outbreak on Helix, and my germaphobia worsens while watching both.

Banshee (Cinemax, Friday 10:00 p.m.) — I don’t watch the show, but the trailer for tonight’s season finale looks explosive.

FOX Sunday Comedies (FOX, Sunday 7:30-10:00 p.m.) — A chinchilla is on the loose and Bob and Linda go out of town on Bob’s Burgers, Homer experiences a life change after becoming the new Duffman on The Simpsons, Jake has hit a losing streak and Holt and Gina are at odds after he insults her dance troupe on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Cleveland becomes a marriage counselor to Peter and Lois on Family Guy, Phil deals with the revelation that there is another woman alive on earth in The Last Man on Earth.

Once Upon a Time (ABC, Sunday 8:00 p.m.) — Regina tries to prove her worth to the Queens of Darkness.

I Hate Christian Laettner (ESPN, Sunday 9:00 p.m.) — Just in time for March Madness, ESPN takes a look back at the NCAA’s former golden boy and most obscure member of the Dream Team, Christian Laettner.

The Royals (E!, Sunday 10:00 p.m.) — Elizabeth Hurley is the Queen of England in this new scripted drama from the network that gifted us all with a constant supply of Kardashian nonsense.

LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Kevin Bacon and Jimmie Walker on Letterman.
