Weekend Preview: Justin Timberlake Is Back On ‘Saturday Night Live’ To Save Us All

Saturday Night Live (NBC, Saturday 11:30 p.m.) – Justin Timberlake hosts. Will Andy Samberg return to do a Digital Short with him? [shakes a Magic 8 Ball that cracked a decade ago and lost all its fluid, Magic 8 Ball just rattles a lot and provides no answer] Crap. He probably will, though.

Game of Thrones: A Gathering Storm (HBO, Friday 9:45 p.m.) – HBO is showing a 15-minute preview of the new season at 9:45 tonight. It’ll probably tell us next to nothing and just make the wait until the premiere even more unbearable. I am going to watch it 20 times. (UPDATE: It’s actually a recap of Season Two. Pretend I never said anything.)

The Walking Dead (AMC, Sunday 9 p.m.) – From TV Guide: “Rick and the Governor contemplate a peace treaty.” Really, TV Guide? That’s all you’re gonna give us? Horsesh-t. (Reminder: This GIF. Forever.)

The Bible/Vikings (History Channel, 8-11 p.m.) – The Bible and vikings. Two great tastes, together at last!

Red Widow (ABC, Sunday 10 p.m.) – This show got mostly crappy reviews and I have no intention of watching it, but it still gets an A+ for the tagline “The only way out … IS DEEPER IN!” Incredibly strong.

The Good Wife (CBS, Sunday 9 p.m.) – I know it’s up against The Walking Dead and there are hardly any zombies in it, but The Good Wife is excellent and you should watch it. I’m glad we had this talk.

The Client List (Lifetime, 10 p.m.) – Season two premiere. I said just about everything I had to say about the show back here, but that post contains a video of Jennifer Love Hewitt singing and dancing in her underpants, so I think linking back to it is the proper thing to do in this situation.

Grimm (NBC, Friday 9 p.m.) – Community gets all the attention when it comes to NBC’s scheduling incompetence, but please also remember that they yoinked this show off the air for several months because NBC.
