Weekend Preview: Does This Sneak Peek Give Away Who The Next To Die Is On 'The Walking Dead'?

The Walking Dead (AMC, Sunday 9 p.m.) — The best reason to own cable television right now comes back with “Isolation,” this Sunday night’s episode which sees the crippling virus continue to spread. AMC has released a sneak peek, and either 1) the series regular featured is the next to die, or 2) it’s a total tease and a cure is on its way.

Homeland (Showtime, Sunday 9 p.m.) — Last week’s jaw-dropping twist may have been the most divisive turn in television this fall, but at least the show is interesting again. Next on scenes are notoriously misleading, but this week’s episode looks fantastic.

Masters of Sex (Showtime, Sunday 10 p.m.) — Does it make anyone else’s skin crawl when Libby calls her husband, “Daddy”? HE’S NOT EVEN A FATHER YET.

Good Wife (CBS, Sunday 9 p.m.) — I know it’s not a popular show in these parts, but this season’s Good Wife is absolutely crushing it. Some are suggesting that this week’s episode may be the best hour of television this year, which is a bold (and likely wrong) statement to make in the same year that Breaking Bad ended, but I suspect it will be a great episode.

Eastbound & Down (HBO, Sunday 10 p.m.) — I haven’t been mentioning Eastbound in the weekend preview because I’m behind, but Ashley’s got you covered weekly, especially if you’re a fan of dudity. (Link not safe FOR YOUR BRAIN)

Saturday Night Live (NBC, Saturday 11:30) — Ed Norton is hosting this weekend, and there has been very little buzz around the episode, which probably means it’ll end up being one of the best of the season. The cast is usually at their best when the expectations are low.

NFL Sunday Night Football (NBC, Sunday 8:20) — It’s a Packers vs. Vikings game, where the outcome is practically a given, but it is the kind of match-up where a lot of fantasy games will be decided. I hope you picked up Jarret Boykin.

Boardwalk Empire (HBO, Sunday 9 p.m.) — Fans of the show may find interesting these gravestones of gangsters (including a couple from Boardwalk).

MLB World Series: Game 3 (Fox, Saturday 7:30) — As someone who has lived in New England for the last 15 years and loves it here, I feel comfortable in saying that it doesn’t matter who wins the series, Red Sox fans are going to be insufferable either way (No offense).
