Weekend Preview: Will Andrea's Head Be The Next To Float In The Governor's Fish Tank?

Fringe (Fox, Friday 9 p.m.) — Hey “Fringe”: Did anyone tell you that all you have left is a short, 13-episode final season? Because you need to stop spinning your damn wheels and MOVE. What was that whole pocket-universe episode about? What was the damn point?

Walking Dead (AMC, Sunday 9 p.m.) — Just three more episodes until the fall finale, where it is my understanding that another fan-favorite will be introduced. Speaking of which, I stumbled upon a MAJOR bummer of spoiler about Daryl’s fate from the comic books, only to discover a few days later that Daryl wasn’t even in the comic books, so suck it made-up spoiler troll. Anyway, I think that Andrea may bang The Governor in this episode. As for the headline: It’s rhetorical. Please don’t answer that, book readers.

Boardwalk Empire (HBO, Sunday 9 p.m.) — There’s also only three episodes of Boardwalk Empire left until the season finale, and at this point, it could not get any worse for our old pal Nucky Thompson. If he was a smart man, he’d find a way to create alliances with Nelson Van Alden and Richard Harrow because it would mean more screen time for both, and they’re sorely underused this season. Also, did you know that Jack Huston used to date Cat Deeley? How weird is that?

Homeland (Showtime, Sunday 10 p.m.) — Speaking of weird real-life relationships, it’s also strange that Damien Lewis is married to Narcissa Malfoy. On the subject of Homeland, a season that went a little wobbly pulled its sh*t together last week with a phenomenal Mandy Patinkin centered episode.

Dexter (Showtime, Sunday 9 p.m.) — How quickly did this season go from promising to absolute crap?

Good Wife (CBS, Sunday 9 p.m.) — A quick shout-out to The Good Wife, for continuing to cast guest stars better than any other show on network television. Nathan Lane, Amanda Peete, and Maura Tierney have provided excellent recurring characters, and good old Judd Hirsch shows up on Sunday’s episode, as does Jenna Gavigan, who you may know as Evelyn from this season of Boardwalk Empire.
