What’s On Tonight: ‘Timeless’ And ‘Conviction’ Premiere

Timeless (NBC, 10:00 p.m.) — A lot of time travel shows are coming to our TVs this fall, but NBC is beating its competition to the punch with Timeless, a drama that follows a trio of heroes chasing a terrorist through different eras. Tonight, a history professor, a coder and an ex-soldier team up to travel to 1930 in order to stop bad guy Garcia Flynn from interfering with the Hindenburg disaster.

Conviction (ABC, 10:00 p.m.) — Yay! Hayley Atwell is back on TV. She’s not Peggy Carter anymore, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing — apparently she plays washed up lawyers just as well as she does spies. Conviction follows a woman who heads an agency that attempts to reverse cases where innocent people were jailed for crimes. Their first case: a former high-school football star serving time for murdering his girlfriend.

Dancing With the Stars (ABC, 8:00 p.m.) — It sounds like ABC wants to put a few B-listers through hell this week. Tonight’s theme is Cirque du Soleil with dances inspired by the acrobatic moves of the famous show’s performers.

Gotham (Fox, 8:00 p.m.) — The Mad Hatter is in town and he recruits Gordon to help him find his missing sister. Meanwhile, Penguin makes a run for mayor; and Bruce’s doppleganger begins to channel him, causing chaos around town.

The Big Bang Theory (CBS, 8:00 p.m.) — Koothrappali learns Bernadette’s true feelings about her pregnancy when they clean out the future baby room; Penny and Amy go to an event at Bert the geologist’s house; and the boys fight amongst each other as they try to complete their government project on time.

The Voice (NBC, 8:00 p.m.) — More blind auditions tonight.

WWE Monday Night Raw (USA, 8:00 p.m.) — We find out what’s next for Seth Rollins after his rib injury and Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson from That ’70s Show guest star.

Kevin Can Wait (CBS, 8:30 p.m.) — Kevin decides to fill every lazy husband stereotype tonight by hiring a maid through an app and taking the credit for a clean house when Donna comes home.

Lucifer (Fox, 9:00 p.m.) — Lucifer’s mother finally makes an appearance, at the scene of a homicide investigation no less. Suspicious of her true motives, Lucifer enlists Maze’s help in keeping an eye on her.

Scorpion (CBS, 9:00/10:00 p.m.) — Season three premieres with anonymous hackers targeting major cities after taking control of U.S. military aircrafts and warships. Later, a hacked nuclear submarine gets ready to launch its missiles.
