What’s On Tonight: ‘Man With A Plan’ Premieres And ‘Gotham’ Hosts A Mad Dinner Party

Man With a Plan (CBS, 8:30 p.m.) — The series premiere of Matt LeBlanc’s new comedy kicks off tonight. The show follows a contractor who becomes a stay-at-home dad after his wife goes back to work — which sounds suspiciously similar to another comedy series on CBS. Is it just me or does the network have a thing for older white guys who used to be funny.

Gotham (Fox, 8:00 p.m.) — The Mad Hatter hosts one hell of a dinner party when he forces Gordon to choose between the two women in his life. Elsewhere, Nygma and Penguin’s relationship evolves as a familiar face re-enters her life.

Kevin Can Wait (CBS, 8:00 p.m.) — Kevin and Donna’s son befriends a boy at school whose own parents are arrogant and pushy so, like the rational, mature adults they are, the pair decides to sabotage their budding friendship.

Supergirl (CW, 8:00 p.m.) — The hot-button issue of aliens vs. human rights divides National City as Kara is recruited to protect the president after a recently escaped Mon-El tries to attack him.

The Voice (NBC, 8:00 p.m.) — More knockout rounds as Tim McGraw and Faith Hill serve as key advisers.

WWE Monday Night Raw (USA, 8:00 p.m.) — Brock Lesnar returns to answer Goldberg’s challenge tonight.

2 Broke Girls (CBS, 9:00 p.m.) — Max and Caroline are fired from god-parenting duties when Oleg’s crazy Ukranian mother comes to visit.

Jane the Virgin (CW, 9:00 p.m.) — Rogelio prepares to make the crossover to American television; Xo worries that Alba will unearth her secret; and Jane struggles to co-parent with Rafael when Mateo must test into preschool.

Lucifer (Fox, 9:00 p.m.) — Lucifer investigates the murder of his favorite action-movie hero, whose longtime rival is one of the initial suspects. Meanwhile, Uriel shows up to cause trouble for Amenadiel who finally admits he’s lost his powers and Lucifer must fight to save Chloe’s life.

The Odd Couple (CBS, 9:30 p.m.) — Oscar rashly enlists Felix to help him save his favorite hangout, which is in financial trouble, but ends up regretting asking for that favor from his roommate when Felix tries to put his stamp on the restaurant.

Scorpion (CBS, 10:00 p.m.) — When thieves rob a rare-gem exhibit in order to extract materials to enrich a nuclear bomb, the geniuses must stop them.

Conviction (ABC, 10:00 p.m.) — Hayes and the team must investigate the case of a mother accused of killing her autistic son.

Timeless (NBC, 10:00 p.m.) — The trio head to Nazi controlled Germany as they track Flynn through World War II. On top of dodging bombs and Hitler’s army, they also have to endure a rather awkward dinner party hosted by a famous literary figure.
