What’s On Tonight: Ollie Transforms On ‘Arrow’ And Adam Loses His Toys On ‘The Goldbergs’

Arrow (CW, 8:00 p.m.) — The synopsis say that “Oliver goes through a rigorous transformation.” Why they don’t just write, “Oliver crams Krispy Kreme in an effort to gain ass mass,” is beyond me. Also, the League is coming for Nyssa, who is hanging out with Laurel, training her to fight and doing other BFF stuffs.

The Goldbergs (ABC, 8:30 p.m.) — Erica wants to appear on a dance show and Adam loses all his toys while gambling. Lost my BraveStarr figure the same way, A-dog. Some of these games aren’t games at all. #LifeLessons

Modern Family (ABC, 9:00 p.m.) — Phil and Jay run an errand together but Phil is upset that Claire won’t let him get a videogame console (she’s right, it’s a Virtual Boy) and Jay is worried that his new son is playing with too many “girlie” toys.

Supernatural (CW, 9:00 p.m.) — Castiel reaches out to Sam and Dean when the Novak’s need help. I assume they’re trying to check off GISHWES tasks. I’m not sure, I’m a bit of a skim-reader.

Black-ish (ABC, 9:30 p.m.) — Dre and Bow can’t agree on how to quash their teenage daughter’s rebellion.

Nashville (ABC, 10:00 p.m.) — Rayna tries to save Deacon’s life by, I’m assuming, talking to his sister. Also, Christina Aguilera is still on this show and this time she’s having a Malibu beach party while Juliette plans her own big event on a roof top in Nashville. Gunnar/Scarlett shippers (probably a thing that exists) might want to turn away now that Kiley is back in the picture, though.

Sometimes there is more drama on this show than is fit for a country song. #Analysis

Big Time In Hollywood, FL (Comedy Central, 10:30 p.m.) — Ben leaves rehab, Jack keeps working on his films, and Del tries to get some… GO ON DEL!

LATE NIGHT GUESTS: Billy Crystal, Dave Salmoni, and Modest Mouse on Kimmel; Jack Hanna (and probably an animal or four) and John Fogert on Letterman; Russell Crowe, Kathryn Hahn, and Eddie Izzard on Corden; Kristen Wiig, Thomas Middleditch, and Josh “Crusher” Groban on Fallon; Chelsea Handler and John Slattery on Meyers; and Matthew Perry, Rose McIver, and Shawn Mendes on Conan.
